Good corporate governance and compliance allows our clients to focus on their core business. Wenger Plattner thereby supports them pragmatically and effectively.
Corporate governance forms the organizational framework of a corporate structure. Good corporate governance is never an end in itself, but combines effectiveness with utmost simplicity and thus becomes a foundational element of a sound corporate culture. Our Governance & Compliance Team has many years of experience in all relevant areas. The active engagement of many of our specialists in executive bodies of companies, non-profit organizations and corporations translates into practical relevance of our advice and results in pragmatic and effective solutions.
Based on a careful analysis of the initial situation, our specialists develop innovative, effective and on-target governance solutions in close cooperation with our clients.
We ourselves actively engage in executive and advisory bodies of our clients and, in this function, share responsibility for defining and implementing our clients’ corporate strategy – in line with the applicable best practice standards of governance & compliance. We also support executive bodies in the function of committee secretariats.
Our specialists advise our clients’ executives in their role as members of both strategic and operational executive bodies.
We support companies and regulatory authorities in clarifying possible compliance violations and breaches of internal corporate governance. Our many years of cross-disciplinary experience in forensic investigations enable us to capture and assess also complex fact patterns with large volumes of data in a structured manner. Our clients also benefit from our deep experience in the context of preventive audits.
We provide comprehensive advice on all legal aspects of corporate responsibility, particularly in the design or adaptation of governance structures, the development of internal corporate policies, the creation and implementation of due diligence concepts (including supply chain policies and action plans) and reporting on non-financial matters. We also assess relevant legal risks for our clients in the context of "human rights due diligence" (HRDD) when entering into business relationships with third parties or in the context of transactions. And we develop effective solutions to avoid or mitigate these risks. In mediation, arbitration and court proceedings, we support you with dedication, competence and a solution-oriented approach.
« Solid corporate governance & compliance is an essential element of a company's risk management. If neglected, sustainable business success is at risk.
