Wenger Plattner have acted as Swiss legal adviser to Sixth Street in connection with the financing provided by Sixth Street to VertiGIS for the acquisition of 1Spatial.
Sixth Street is a global multi-strategy investment firm headquartered in San Francisco, California, with over $140 billion assets under management and committed capital and is active in over 25 countries.
On 30 April 2026, VertiGIS, a portfolio company of Battery Ventures and a leading spatial asset management and geographic information system solutions provider, acquired AIM-listed 1Spatial, a leader in advanced location master data management software and services solutions, by way of a £87.1 million cash offer. The secured EUR 175,000,000 financing, consisting of a facility B term loan and an RCF, was signed in March 2026, with post-closing accessions completing in August 2026.
The Wenger Plattner team, led by Christine Hohl, supported Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP on this transaction who acted as lead counsel to Sixth Street.
