The Wenger Plattner notary practice team supports companies and individuals with all business transactions that need to be notarized or certified.
The geographical location of our Notary Practice Team is Basel, but we operate throughout Switzerland. In the Canton of Schwyz, we also offer notarial services with a self-employed notary public. Several of our lawyers are also active as self-employed notaries and have extensive knowledge and many years of experience. We advise and notarize corporate transactions and resolutions as well as contracts in property, family, inheritance, corporate and foundation law. Another area of expertise is company and business acquisitions, mergers and other business transactions – also according to German transformation, corporate, contract, marital property and inheritance law. The areas in which Wenger Plattner has extensive experience and capacity include:
Sale, acquisition, and structuring of real estate (such as division into co-ownership or condominium ownership, building rights contracts and other easements) as well as real estate financing (mortgage transactions).
Formation of corporations and limited liability companies, capital increases and decreases, amendments to articles of association, restructuring of companies (mergers and demergers, transformations , transfer of assets and liabilities) as well as business successions.
Neutral party for transaction support, namely as a custodian for transaction documents (e.g., data room records) or as an escrow agent for payment processing.
Wills, marriage and inheritance contracts, property agreements, advance care directives, foundations and enforceable deeds as well as executorships and inheritance divisions.
Our notaries in Basel have many years of experience in notarizing corporate-related transactions under German law: company acquisitions and financings (assignment and pledging of GmbH shares) as well as capital measures and other amendments to articles of association and transactions under the German Transformation Act; consent resolutions to corporate contracts; electronic applications to the German commercial register (including shareholder lists); wills and marriage and inheritance contracts.
« As notaries, we aim to provide our services effectively and efficiently.
